Happy Thanksgiving from Provance Chiropractic

Thanksgiving is almost upon us to kick off the holiday season! Maybe you're the person cooking the turducken, gumbo, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and ham - or just the happy eater. Either way, Provance Chiropractic wishes you an amazing Turkey Day!

Here are some helpful tips to make sure your holiday season is a special one, even when you're in a completely debilitating food coma!

Recognize the onset of stress

Stress is the body’s reaction to changes with physical, mental, and emotional responses.

The holiday season can bring an overwhelming amount of stress. It's full of tasks and chores, hectic travel schedules, endless shopping, baking, and cooking, so it is very important to recognize the onset of stress so you can quickly minimize the negative impacts.

To avoid these holiday blues, try these quick three: plan our your day, don't worry about perfection, and feel free to solicit help.

Bend at the knee

During this season, we drag around heavy boxes full of decorations.  We push and pull heavy items and put strains on our backs.

Remember, to lift heavy objects, bend at the knee, and don’t twist your body while holding anything heavy!

Treat yourself to a Holiday Treat

If you are feeling some aches and pains, or just want to be at your best this holiday season, stop by our office and treat your body to the gift of health!
