We celebrated national chiropractic month with a patient appreciation day and two wellness classes: Yoga and Strong by Zumba!

The event raised funds for the The Mission To Hear Foundation, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing hearing aids to under-resourced, hearing impaired children and adults. There was live music by The Vettes, blasting fire hoses, water slides, and a foam zone.
Texas Chiropractic College Alumni Networking Event
Dr. Rizer has returned from Houston, Texas where he participated in the Texas Chiropractic College Alumni Networking Event. The event encourages students to build valuable connections with practicing Doctors. He also participated in the Speed Mentoring Event where over 40 students raced the clock to ask as many thought provoking questions of the doctors about chiropractic and the profession.

Dr. Rizer lectured to St. Martin’s Episcopal School High School Health Classes on healthy living. Topics covered: myths of dieting, fast food, myths of fat free and sugar free foods, when and how much to eat, water, carbohydrates, proteins, fiber, supplements, the signs and symptoms of stress, healthy foods that help with stress, truths about caffeine and energy drinks, alcohol and cigarette smoke, importance of rest and posture.

Fuel the Future Foundation Field Trip to Provance Chiropractic
Provance in the Community recently hosted a field trip for children from Fuel the Future Foundation at our clinic. The doctors spoke to them on chiropractic care and gave suggestions on healthy lifestyle choices. The children got to tour the clinic, were shown x-rays and practiced in spinal posture exercises.
